Bob Mollema

Bob Mollema (1990) is a Dutch artist and musician. His raw, energetic work draws from mythology, folklore, underground music, comics and ancient visual cultures. Working with drawing, painting and mixed media, Mollema creates a world populated by strange creatures, symbols and human figures, somewhere between the everyday, the mythical and the absurd.
His work moves freely between dark humour, ritual, fantasy and instinct, with a visual language that feels both ancient and unmistakably contemporary.
